Blog This!!!!!!!!

The official list of applicants for state comptroller should not be coming out any minute according to Azi Paybarah(The Politicker)....maybe later in the week the deadline for applying was noon today.........three more in the mix are Jim LaRocca For Comptroller Too and State Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, who is Playing The Ethnicity Card.......Jim LaRocca is a good guy...very personable..and street wise..he knows how government works..met him when he was running for Governor a few years back....and finally Bill Mulrow In, Too........very sorry to hear that Assemblyman John Lavelle Suffers Stroke ...I wish him a speedy recovery.......Republican 7th SD candidate Maureen O’Connell has become a "born again" Spitzer follower...at least that what she is saying..O’Connell In Cyberspace (Updated)........but ............"UPDATE: Johnson’s spokesman Alex Navarro emailed over this statement:
“Listening to Maureen O’Connell lecture us on reform is like listening to Paris Hilton lecture us on modesty. Her rhetoric doesn’t match up with reality. If Maureen O’Connell supported real reform, she would call her patron (Senate Majority Leader) Joe Bruno today and demand that he allow a roll-call vote on rules changes to require complete disclosure of the sponsors of member-item pork.” now if Paris Hilton was running...well...........and when it comes to personalities in political tv ads.......Mrs. Balboni is no Eliot Spitzer.....and talk about uncomfortable moments "According to the Spitzer administration,
Stephanie Balboni, who’s supporting GOP candidate Maureen O’Connell in the 7th SD race, “is entitled to her own political views.” Balboni’s husband, the ex-senator who now works for Spitzer, said he had now idea his wife would appear in O’Connell’s new TV spot, but told Newsday: “She does what she wants.”....sounds like the old tv show "hogan's hero's"...."I know nothing..nothing".....Joe Bruno is definitely not very happy these days........."Meanwhile, Bruno blasted good government groups - most of which had representatives on Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s transition committees - as “hard-core Democratic operatives who want to defeat Republicans.”..............dems defeating republicans??? Outrageous....how dare they!!!!!! and one of our readers reminded me that "Young Republicans" are not really that young...you have to be 18 to join...so no child labor law issues involved.............andy
