Singing the Comptroller Blues and other tunes

Things are starting to kick up a notch......Capitol Confidential gives us More Comptroller Angles and the infamous "The one-assemblyman-in-the-final-five theory" so Silver doesn't have to chose sides???? hmmmmmmmm.....not........and That Was Fast Bellamy follows the LIFO principle of accounting....last one in......first one out......Comptroller Candidates Filing In (Updated) ........or how Howard Weitzman..current Nassau County Comptroller...is schmoozing the press and State Assembly.......Howard is praying and hoping the playing field is a level one..which kind of tells you what chance he really has..........slim to none.....and who better than an Italian/American, AG Cuomo ,would know how to serve Pork Certified Pork...on a hero bread...my favorite.......and Newsday's SpinCyle announces Yevoli Makes a Move on Jay Jacobs for Nassau County Dem Chair....Lou and Jay are very tight with Tom Suozzi...if anything...Jay wants to step down...no way would Lou get in Jay's way..unless this was all prearranged...sort of like watching a "professional" wrestling match..........stay tuned.......and finally SpinCycle's famous Naked Ambition ......here are this week's entries......
Which was the most fevered lunge for self-promotion by a power player?

1. U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton calling for a surge in American troops into Afghanistan and a “cap” on the number in Iraq -- just days before announcing her bid for the presidency.

2. The Craig Johnson camp claiming his rival for state Senate in Nassau, Maureen O’Connell, opposed stem-cell research — while she insists she supports the practice.

3. Republican O’Connell issuing a letter to Democratic Gov. Eliot Spitzer saying she “can easily support” his reform agenda.

and the voting results:
