UPDATE: The AP just reported that the Senator in question is Efrain Gonzalez Jr. More Trouble in Albany ..............Danny Hakim (NY Times Empire Zone) has The Spitzer-Hevesi Warfare, Cont. A rose by any other name......Hevesi is trying to put a positive spin on his shelling out a ton of the green stuff.....Spitzer's Office is not buying it.........they should know......and......."Moments after his latest indictment was announced in Manhattan, Senator Efrain Gonzalez, a Bronx Democrat, said “no comment, talk to my lawyer,” and then added, “I’m innocent. You know, we’ve got to keep moving.”
He made the comments during a break on the Senate floor in Albany, where a special session is being held today. " The Senator Responds ...................andy
