WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 — In a Democratic Party full of egos, few are as big as the ones from New York. Big enough that no last names are necessary for the tabloid headline writers: Chuck, Hillary, Eliot, Charlie (as in Rangel) and Andrew (as in Cuomo). And big enough that New York’s ability to get things done now hangs partly on their approach to the question, can we all get along?
