Drowning in denial

"Hevesi remains deep in denial. He signed a settlement with the AG's office, then immediately said he disputes some of the bad behavior it lays out.
This seems to have ticked off Attorney General Eliot Spitzer who, as governor-elect, could recommend Hevesi's removal early next year.
"In assigning state workers to nonofficial duties and in failing to keep appropriate records upon which reimbursement could be based, the controller clearly violated his fiduciary duty to the people of the state," Spitzer spokesman Darren Dopp said yesterday. "The controller cannot deny that fact."


This is exactly the kind of thing........the Comptroller's office investigates and tries to weed out...fess up Allan...it will make you feel better......... read the rest here ...........andy
