What Eliot and Andrew owe religious New Yorkers

"The resounding victories of Eliot Spitzer and Andrew Cuomo, New York's new governor and attorney general, were tremendous accomplishments. But in the rush to congratulate our new leaders and build consensus, we must not gloss over serious points of concern.
On behalf of the New Yorkers of faith we represent, we must address three serious issues. First, our communities are absolutely opposed to same-sex marriage. Second, we enthusiastically support state aid for families choosing to send their children to private and religious schools. Third, we see the need for new measures to protect the right of all citizens to exercise their religion without fear of discrimination." to continue this commentary.......
