Blog Time

Liz Benjamin(Capitol Confidential) gives usAll Johnson, All The Time "The state Democratic Party has dedicated its new Web site that features - Guess who? - Democratic 7th SD candidate Craig Johnson, pictured with - Who else? - Gov. Eliot Spitzer. The site has a handy "Contribute Now" button" Hey the Internet is the new political frontier....speaking of frontiers.....Netroots For Johnson.......the mother of all blog fundraisers is about to take place.....This “blograiser,” as its being billed, for Democrat Craig Johnson, is yet another event at which Gov. Eliot Spitzer is acting as the draw for cash to influence the 7th SD race.
The event also has an added twist.
It represents a nascent coming together of a number of so-called progressive (I know some of you take issue with that word) blogs in a “there’s power in numbers” effort to move the Democratic agenda in New York.
The folks at
The Albany Project, which is one of the event’s sponsors, are saying this is “unprecedented.” Do you notice how Spitzer attracts this kind of "innovative" crowd.......and Eliot is hiring republicans as promised.....Another Show Of Bipartisanship "Thanks to a reader who pointed this out.
I have checked (or rather, asked someone to check) and new Health Commissioner Dr. Richard F. Daines is, in fact, a registered Republican." ....although another reader responded by saying "No surprise there…most Doctors are." and Spitzer is told..He shouldn't license terrorists.....

Got A License For That? "he Coalition for a Secure Driver’s License, which includes some 9/11 family members, are putting heat on Gov. Eliot Spitzer not to (in their words) “license terrorists” by eliminating the current requirement that applicants provide a valid Social Security number that is cross-checked with a federal database." give me a break.......doesn't "big brother" have enough information on us already??? and here's the best part......"Interestingly, the firm that is working for the Coalition for a Secure Driver’s License, O’Reilly Strategic Communications, also managed Faso’s campaign." well....we know how this campaign is going to turn out..........and .......from our "skating on thin ice" department......Mrs.Balboni decides to do a political TV ad for Maureen O’Connell And Now A Word From Mrs. Balboni ........"honey...I'm home...guess what??.the boss is pissed right now........do you want to know why???" and finally in our "how low can you go" department...comes this Young GOP Protest "The New York Young Republican Club plans to protest the $25,000-a-head fundraiser Gov. Eliot Spitzer is headlining tonight in Manhattan to benefit the state Democratic Party’s efforts on behalf of 7th SD candidate Craig Johnson." Mondello/Bruno are now sending in kids to do their dirty work??? Isn't there child abuse laws against this??? andy

Comments:
The Young Republican Club is for adults ages 18 - 40, so no worries, no child protection laws were broken.
