Heading into what are likely to be tough Medicaid negotiations with Gov. Spitzer, 91 New York City-area hospitals and nursing homes have just negotiated a new labor contract more than 15 months ahead of schedule, The Daily News is exclusively reporting on its Web site.
The tentative settlement between the League of Voluntary Hospitals and Homes and Dennis Rivera's 1199 SEIU calls for annual 3% raises over 41-month period beginning May 1, 2008.
