O'Connell v. Johnson: the Air War and other political bloopers

Newsday SpinCycle

What is it worth for Eliot Spitzer to appear in your political tv ad??? priceless....andy

"Nassau Legis. Craig Johnson has rolled out his first TV ad in the race for state Senate and, unsurprisingly, it features Gov. Eliot Spitzer. It also comes a week after Nassau Clerk Maureen O'Connell, who is Johnson's opponent in the 7th S.D., first hit the airwaves." and in the opppppppppsss department ......Who's This Guy Again?
Of course, errors are a bipartisan affair.
Sometimes you can't tell the players without a scorecard, but Chuck Schumer on Sunday had already promoted Nassau Legis. Craig Johnson (D-Port Washington) from the county to the state legislature.
At the end of his 11-minute speech, in which he endorsed Johnson in the special election for the 7th state Senate district seat and harangued Republicans and drug companies, Schumer offered this capstone:
"I'm so proud to be here with him today and will do everything I can to see that State Legislator Johnson becomes, on Feb. 6th, Senator Craig Johnson." and not to be outdone......
O'Connell Misspells In Campaign Missive
Over at Capitol Confidential Liz Benjamin plays proofreader to Maureen O'Connell's campaign literature and has a good catch. and Liz has her own spin on Spitzer's new TV Ad for Johnson Spitzer’s Man ............what a great ad....right to the point......Johnson is one very lucky dude..........andy
